SCOTT SOLER

Mr. Soler has extensive investment experience, having analyzed securities and businesses for over 25 years across a broad range of industries. Mr. Soler founded Jackson Hill Advisors in 2016, where he serves as the General Partner and Portfolio Manager. Mr. Soler & family have >75% of their liquid net worth invested in the fund and are the largest LP in the fund.
Mr. Soler co-owned and co-managed Limestone Value Partners and the DAC Value Fund from 2011-2015. Prior to Limestone, he was a Partner at Quantum Energy Partners (2006-2011) and served on the firm’s Investment Committee, Executive Committee, and several boards. He was a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley from 1996-2006. While there, he was perennially the #1-ranked Natural Gas & MLP analyst by Institutional Investor. Prior to that, he was the #2-ranked Homebuilding/Building Products analyst. He was also one of two research analysts on the perennially #2-ranked Oilfield Services team. He was a senior auditor and consultant for Ernst & Young (1991-1995), advising several Fortune 500 companies including Continental Airlines and Coca-Cola.
Mr. Soler holds a B.B.A in Accounting, magna cum laude, from Texas A&M University and an MBA from the Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania. He is a licensed CPA in the State of Texas.
Outside of work, Mr. Soler currently serves on the board of both 4Africa and Star of Hope. He also previously served as the Chairman of the Finance Committee on the board of Every Village Ministries.
AARON HAFER
Investment Analyst &
Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Hafer has been with Jackson Hill Advisors since its founding in 2016. He serves as the firm's investment analyst and chief operating officer.
Aaron has been with Jackson Hill since its founding in 2016. Aaron graduated with honors from Texas A&M University with his BBA and MS in Finance (4.0 GPA in the Masters Program). While at Texas A&M, Aaron was active in several investing organizations including The Titans of Investing (Aaron received the “Top Titan of the Year” award), Aggies on Wall Street, The Tanner Fund, and the Trading Risk & Investments Program (TRIP). In addition to his time at Jackson Hill, Aaron’s previous work experience includes internships with The Teachers Retirement System of Texas (largest pension fund in Texas), Limestone Value Partners (hedge fund), Texla Energy, Calpine and the BG Group.
Mr. Hafer holds a B.B.A in Finance, cum laude, from Texas A&M University and an M.S. in Finance from Texas A&M University (4.0).
Outside of work, Mr. Hafer is active at his church, Crosspoint Church Bellaire.

Britt Harris
Mr. Harris is the former President, CEO, and CIO of the University of Texas/Texas A&M Investment Management Co. (UTIMCO). Prior to joining UTIMCO, Mr. Harris served as the CIO of Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS). Mr. Harris also served as the CEO of Bridgewater Associates. He serves as an executive professor for “Titans of Investing” at his alma mater Texas A&M University.
Wil VanLoh
Mr. VanLoh founded Quantum Energy Partners in 1998 and serves as the firm's Chairman and CEO. Prior to Quantum, he was an investment banker with several firms including Kidder, Peabody & Co. Mr. VanLoh is very active in a number of faith-based and other non-profit organizations.
Scott Slayton
Mr. Slayton is the Chief Strategist at Capital Creek Partners. Prior to Capital Creek, he was Head of Asset Allocation at UTIMCO where he managed a $1 billion macro overlay portfolio. Prior to UTIMCO, Mr. Slayton worked for Jamison Capital Partners, Tudor Investments, and Morgan Stanley.
Paul Rasplicka
Mr. Rasplicka is the co-founder and a Principal of Yellowstone Investments, LLC and has more than 30 years of investment experience, including over 16 years as a Senior Portfolio Manager at Invesco. He serves on the board of several faith-based ministries.
Mike Humphrey
Mr. Humphrey is the co-founder (1997) and Managing Director of Tanglewood Investments, a private equity firm focused on "hands-on" turnaround investing of global manfacturing companies. He serves on the board of several faith-based ministries.
Robert Alpert
Mr. Alpert founded Atlas Capital Management in 1995, where he is the General Partner and Portfolio Manager. Prior to this, he was a Portfolio Manager for Luther King Capital Management. Mr. Alpert serves on the board of several faith-based ministries.
